The main takeaways, if we want change,
is to take action

It is as simple as that!

In the other European countries, they keep taking action, they have quotas, they have plans,
they have mechanisms when they hire. In Denmark we fail, and I think we should do more, and be serious about it, because it’s structural, and when things are structural they do not come by themselves

Mentor programs

The mentor program is targeted towards female talent within Life Sciences. The program is a 12-month program launched November 2023. The program enlists members of WiLD as mentors to offer individual mentoring of up-and-coming female talents. This initiative is financed by the Lundbeck Foundation by a grant of 475.000 DKK. You can read more about our mentor program here.

Webinars

Our lectures offer valuable knowledge and insights for both members and non-members. Whether you’re looking to learn about a new topic or expand upon your existing skills, our expert lecturers have something to offer for everyone.

Media training

The expert panel is a panel of industry experts from the WiLD network. The panel can be accessed to contribute expert knowledge to the media and participate in public discourse – and thereby increase the visibility of female experts and role models both within the Life Science industry and in the society at large. The expert panel is targeted towards media, researchers and collaborators and will be publicized on the network’s web page. This initiative will be launched during 2024. You can read more about the expert panel here.
