Mentor program

Our mentor program develops female talent within Life Sciences and educates experienced life science leaders in the art of mentoring.
WiLD members – and potentially other life science professionals in our networks – act as mentors, offering individual mentoring to mentees.

Mentors also serve as role models by speaking at educational institutions, industry associations, and beyond.
With the support of a mentor, you will gain guidance to achieve your goals and make meaningful progress.

We thank you very much for all the applications, we have received in 2025.
The next application deadline will be around November 1, 2026.

1-on-1 mentoring is a personalized and effective way to achieve your professional goals as a mentee, while providing the mentors with interesting learning experiences. The program simultaneously educates mentors and mentees in how to make the most of your role in the mentor-mentee situation. In other words, it’s learning for life. In the WiLD Mentoring Program – a structured, professional programme delivered by KMP+ House of Mentoring – you will gain valuable insights and skills to help you succeed in your career. The program runs for 12 months, includes matching with a mentor with experience relevant to the mentee’s current career challenge and/or career ambitions. Additionally, the program includes a physical kick-off facilitated by Kirsten M. Poulsen, Director and Founder of KMP+ House of Mentoring, an online workshop for mentees, and one for mentors, as well as access to an online mentoring toolbox to support your mentoring journey.  WiLD members and non-members  have the opportunity to apply for the mentoring program both as mentors and mentees WiLD´s mentoring program is generously supported by the Lundbeck Foundation and Novo Nordisk Foundation for which we are very grateful.
