Mentor program
Our mentor program aims at developing both female talent within Life Sciences and educating experienced career women in the art of mentoring. The mentor program enlists members of WiLD as mentors to offer both individual mentoring of up-and-coming female talents (also WiLD members), as well as team sparring in more senior peer-to-peer groups. In addition, our mentors will act as role models by engaging in public speaking outside the network, for instance in educational institutions, industry associations and similar places.
Are you a WiLD member, who is looking to take your career or personal development to the next level? Our mentor program can help you do just that! With the support of an experienced mentor, you’ll have the guidance you need to achieve your goals and make meaningful progress in your life.
1-on-1 mentoring is a personalized and effective way to achieve your professional goals as a mentee, while providing the mentors with interesting learning experiences. The program simultaneously educates mentors and mentees in how to make the most of your role in the mentor-mentee situation. In other words, it’s learning for life. In the WiLD Mentoring Program – a structured, professional programme delivered by KMP+ House of Mentoring – you will gain valuable insights and skills to help you succeed in your career. The program runs for 12 months, includes matching with a mentor with experience relevant to the mentee’s current career challenge and/or career ambitions. Additionally, the program includes a physical kick-off facilitated by Kirsten M. Poulsen, Director and Founder of KMP+ House of Mentoring, an online workshop for mentees, and one for mentors, as well as access to an online mentoring toolbox to support your mentoring journey. WiLD members are invited to apply for the mentoring program both as mentors and mentees WiLD´s mentoring program is generously supported by the Lundbeck Foundation for which we are very grateful.
